Who we are
Annie Where is a Belgian start-up, based in Ghent and an initiative of Jo Caudron, David Bintein and Gilles Missinne. Our mission is to give employees the best thinkable work experience by bringing the workplace closer to where people live.
Meet the team
Jo Caudron
Jo Caudron has been active for more than three decades as a CEO, evangelist and strategic advisor to various organisations. He has several books to his credit, all of which are a source of inspiration for individuals, companies and policy makers in these digital, transformative times. His book 'The world is round', which was released pre-corona but contains post-corona thinking, was elected best management book of 2020 in the Netherlands. Contact Jo via jo@anniewhere.work.
Gilles Missinne
Working with and for internationally active entrepreneurs at UNIZO showed Gilles how much drive and flexibility an entrepreneur needs to succeed. This made him curious to explore new opportunities himself. As the pandemic started and people had to work remotely, the work-from-anywhere idea became more relevant than ever. Gilles is responsible for the business development within Annie Where, constantly looking for new partners and opportunities. Contact Gilles via gilles@anniewhere.work.
David Bintein
From 1993 to 2020 David Bintein managed digital agency Starring Jane. Starring Jane advises (medium-) sized companies on their digital strategy and develops websites, -shops and apps. He is also the driving force behind The Hive, a coworking space in Ghent for companies in the digital sector. Contact David via david@anniewhere.work.
Why we do this
Our world is changing rapidly. Telecommuting and work-life balance are established concepts. Ecology is a hot topic and people are thinking more and more about how they want to live. We strongly believe happiness and wellbeing at work contributes to productivity.
This is a very topical subject, as the debate around tele- and homeworking is in full swing, while existing office buildings are struggling with empty spaces.
Hence our motivation to bring work closer to where people live and make the world a better place.
